Class Parent Information

Class Parents

Class Parents will be chosen before the first meeting on Wednesday September 24th. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm in the WTB library. It is NOT mandatory that you be there for the drawing and you will be notified via email if you have been chosen. The mandatory class parent meeting will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room at  Walter T. Bergen. To be eligible to be a Class Parent/Captain You must be a current paid member in good standing with this PTA to be eligible for the lottery. All Class Parents/Captains must either attend at least 2 general PTA meetings per year or actively volunteer for 2 committees. Class Parent FAQ

As Captain, can I go to any/all the parties? NO.  Just the 2 parents from your class assigned to that party should plan and attend the party. My teacher contacted Captain about chaperones for the field trip.  She needs 3.  Who gets to go? Captain should contact CP #2 and #3 to see if they can go. If either/both can’t, Captain should move on the CP#4, then alternate 1 and so on until 3 chaperones are found. There’s a second field trip and 4 chaperones are needed.  Who gets to go? Please send in all Box Tops in an envelope to your child’s homeroom.

2. SHOP!
Box Tops has partnered with dozens of popular on-line stores to help you earn even more cash for our school. At the Box Tops Marketplace, you can shop at over 60 on-line stores including The Gap, JCPenney, Lands’ End and even The Apple Store! Whenever you start your shopping trip at the Marketplace, a portion of every qualifying purchase is automatically donated to your school (be sure you are logged in of course) – at no additional cost to you!

Stop and Shop

What It Is
With A+ BonusBucks, points accrue with each purchase where the Stop & Shop Card is used. It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Stop & Shop. At the end of each month, these points determine your school’s cash total which is automatically credited to its account and school totals updated each month. (Please note: Gift cards, pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)

How It Works
A+ BonusBucks are rounded per transaction to the nearest whole dollar amount. At the end of each month, each school’s dollar amount is determined which is then automatically credited to its account

How to Earn Extra Credit
Earn extra credit for your school when you use your Stop & Shop Card to purchase specially-marked products from these manufacturers (list changes weekly).

Cambell’s Soup

Collect your Campbell’s Soup labels and send them in an envelope to your child’s homeroom to earn for our schools.

Glenwild Garden Center

Save your receipts from Glenwild Garden Center and turn them into your school’s office.  Glenwild will donate a portion of each sale back to our schools.
