I’ve just been made Captain…what do I do now? Send home letter to all parents in class requesting $10 for class party donations and asking for volunteers to provide snacks/drinks throughout the year. Collect monies and contact other captains with total (as well as VP) so you can divide the $ evenly among all the students in the grade.  Ex: Captain A collects $170, Captain B collects $180 and Captain C collects $100.  There are 50 kids in the grade.  $450/50 equals $9 per kid.  You have 15 kids in your class, so you get $135 to divide among your party parents. $135/4 parties is $33.75 per party.
