Class Captain Instructions & Information

September 2015

  1. Coordinate with other class parents to determine who is assigned to each party.
  2. Email the teacher to introduce yourself as the Class Captain.  Ask if there are any food allergies in the class and ask for a list of student names.
  3. Download and modify the Class Parent Introduction Letter (http://bloomingdalepta.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/class-parent-intro-letter.docx ) and send it home to your class.

Important note regarding party money:

*This year, the Board will be handling the collection of party funds from students.  Once the money has been collected, it will be divided equally among the classes of each grade (ie: all money collected from First Graders will be pooled and equally divided among the First Grade classes).  Once divided by grade, the money will be given to the Class Captains.  Please be sure to budget your parties equally to ensure that you do not run out of funds by June.
