Class Captain Letter (MBD/SRD)

Here is an example letter for Class Captains to send to their class.   You can copy and paste the text to edit, or, download the letter in a word document.

Dear Parents of  (fill in your class name….ie, Mrs. Jordan’s 1^st grade class)

Hi!  My name is (your name) and I’ve been selected to the class captain for the 2011-2012 school year.  Our other class parents are:

We are excited to be your child’s Class Parents and are looking forward to assisting (Teacher Name) with parties, activities and class trips.  There are 5 parties planned for this year – Halloween, Holiday, Valentine’s Day, Spring and End of Year – and we are asking for a donation of $10 per child for these events.  Please note that this year all monies collected will be pooled across each grade.  This will enable the class Parents to collaborate with each other on projects and crafts and enable them to save by buying in bulk.  This will also ensure that every child has the same wonderful party experience!  In the past, some classes did not have enough supplies due the the lack of response to this request.  This affects ALL of our children and the quality of the parties that we can provide, so please give what you can.

Additionally, if you are willing to send in a snack or drink for a party, please indicate that below and we will contact you to make a request if needed.  We appreciate your help!
